In today’s post-truth era, sometimes things are not as they seem, even in #formula1.  A storied Italian brand returns to F1, but they’re really a scrappy little Swiss team with someone else’s engine.  An energy drink maker somehow wins 4 world championships, has a tie-in with a legendary British manufacturer, but has a Japanese engine.  And what of the Red Cars, and their benefactor?  A tobacco company that is not a tobacco company??
