I love this amazing silk floral Prada set from the 2008 Resort collection. This was one of the most famous of all Miuccia's collections and the pieces sold out world-wide shortly after being released. Being resort the pieces were produced in extremely limited quantities making everything from this collection even more special. This print was featured heavily in the ad campaign for that season and was seen on countless other celebrities. Pieces appeared in many publications and editorials. It will forever be instantly recognized as one of the key prints from the house. It is also an amazing testament to the couture level construction techniques that the house of Prada employs. The set is twp pieces, a top or light jacket and a pair of straight legged pants. Each of the pieces also has a matching belt making the set four pieces in all. The jacket is cut to skim over the body and buttons fully down the front so that you can wear it as a top on its own or layer it over other pieces. Its matching belt cinches in the waist for added shape. The pants are cut like a trouser with a banded waist through which the second belt goes. They have a flat, zipped front and each leg is cut straight and wide. The finishing is immaculate and the silk used gives it that perfect balance between softness and structure. This set was provided exactly as it appeared in the collection that season. Excellent condition.

The top is fully lined in black silk and closes down the front with buttons. Each cuff also buttons to close. The pants zip to close at the front and have two flat hook and eye to close at the waist. Top set pockets on each hip. Beautifully finished and appears to have never been worn or worn very little. Both pieces are a Prada 42.
